A Year of Impact

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on what’s been possible in 2024 because of people like you—our community of supporters, volunteers, and local partners. Every Child TN’s mission to support children and families impacted by foster care has always been a team effort, and this year, that team has stepped up in ways that inspire and humble us.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished together.

Building a Network of Care
Across Tennessee

Every Child TN is a network of dedicated partner organizations across the state, many with personal ties to foster care. Whether it’s lived experience or a deep-rooted passion for helping children in crisis, these local partners and affiliates have a unique commitment to showing up for Tennessee’s kids.

In 2024, with our network partners’ support and yours, we’ve seen:

• Every Child TN has 35 network partner orgs, and will be onboarding 20 more
• Total foster ready now inquiries: 652
• Inquires passed to DCS: 316
• 927 Volunteer Inquiries
• 2473 People who have inquired how to get involved with Every Child TN!

Our partners and volunteers don’t just “do their jobs”—they build community, offer encouragement, and remind children and families they are valued and seen. We’re so appreciative of everyone who has stepped up and made a difference for children and families.

Supporting and Uplifting Foster Families

Being a foster parent can be incredibly rewarding, but it also brings unique challenges. Every Child TN’s mission is not only to recruit new foster homes in our state, but to make sure that the current foster families are seen, celebrated, and supported.

We have many ways of getting involved – you don’t have to be a foster parent to make a difference for children and families in our communities!

Looking Forward: Join Us This Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, and it’s an amazing chance to make a meaningful difference. Not everyone can open their home, but every one of us can help make foster care a little easier and a lot brighter for these families. As we are the Volunteer State, we are asking instead of a financial gift that you help support the effort by sharing Every Child TN with your network and explore opportunities to volunteer or donate items for children in need.
