Every Child TN is a joint collaboration of The Governors Office of Faith Based and Community Initiative and the TN Department of Children’s Services (DCS).

TN DCS covered Every Child TN’s official launch last week and went into detail about our mission, our strategy, and our hopes for what this means for children and families across the state.

Every Child TN expands upon the work of former Governor Bill Haslam’s Tennessee Fosters and Governor Bill Lee’s Tennessee Fosters Hope by building upon past efforts and introducing innovative solutions.

Governor Bill Lee and the First Lady was in attendance at the Every Child Launch event August 26th, 2024. He spoke to the crowd of almost 1,700 people in support of the effort:

“Government cannot solve our greatest challenges, and Tennesseans will always step up to serve the most vulnerable in our state. Every Child TN invites all of us to care for children and families impacted by foster care.” – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee
