Knoxville news station WBIR covered Every Child TN launching on August 26th, 2024. Every Child TN is a state-wide initiative to make it easier than ever for people to get involved and make an impact for those impacted by foster care. It is a joint collaboration of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and the Governor’s Office of Faith-based and community initiative (GFBCI).

In an interview with Lance Villio, Executive Director of GFBCI, he spoke about the foundational data for Every Child TN and how identifying those gaps in support helps Every Child TN target where more recruitment is needed.

“These are gaps and opportunities to where the community is really mobilized and invited into this process that they can, they can really help serve a need,” said Lance Villio.
